What inspired you to start making music, VINTAGE?

That's a great question! I was inspired to start making music when I heard various rap songs, but L.L. Cool J.'s "That's A Lie" made me put pencil to pad. The way the song made me feel was indescribable, and from then on I knew I wanted to create music of my own so I could share my vision.

What are some of your biggest musical influences?

I am a big fan of Big Daddy Kane, D'Angelo, Musiq Soulchild and many other artists! I like to think that all of the songs I listen to play a part in the music that I create.

What is your favorite song?

I have quite a few favorite songs. Depends on my listening mood. There are too many out there! However, one of my all time favorites is "Holding  Back The Years" by Simply Red.

What do you dislike?

I listen closely to music I can't relate to. Mainly to understand the artist's journey when they wrote the lyrics. I dislike when artists put down other artists' music.

What are your origins?

I began my musical journey in my bedroom after homework, trying to write the best possible lyrics I could. After a while, I started practicing over cassette beats, which started to get traction!

What is your favorite thing about music?

Expression. I love that I can make something that people connect with. Music is a great way to share emotions!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I want to have more music created! I want to also have a bigger following than I do now!

If you could collaborate with one artist, who would it be?

I would love to collaborate with Raheem DeVaughn. One of the greats we hardly discuss. His writing and delivery  pushes your own potential!
